This solution ensures a good UX for the different use cases that the Alby extension enables.

Please note, that in most cases you can either send your data (authorization tokens, private keys) to various web apps or use a local tool (like the Alby Extension) which manages authentication for you, provides a known UX, and is open-source.
+ We are working on a solution, that does many things that Alby extension enables, but... doesn't require the extension ;)
