Ah I gotcha, i misunderstood 🙂

If anything, eventually the more challenging part will be shielding relay operators from dealing with the liability of any illegal stuff transferred through their relay.

Right now, this is mostly avoided because relays only transfer/store text, images/videos posted are hosted on 3rd party services.
