One of the most interesting things in life is undoing the myopia of the social context that you were born into.

100% this!! This is by far the biggest lesson that five year full time digital nomading has taught me.

If you remove everything “semi-external” from your life and everything becomes an optionality, the only thing that will always be there is “you as a person”. But then the version of “you” that remains when all traditions, rituals, habits, and structures disappear.

There is still/always a place you live, friends you have, relationships you build, a job/passion you work on. But life is not destined by rigid external factors.
