💯 I’ve known people who spent the majority of their life prepping for disasters that never came. Always fearful without joy. This is not the Life God calls us to.

It's one thing to do thorough and common sense emergency preparedness, especially as a father and head of household.
That entire project maybe takes a couple months (or less) and then the system an be easily maintained over decades.
Take care of your responsibilities then get back to the mission of inspiring/serving/being an example to your household and your community.
