On #amethyst ... is 'muting' a user different than blocking them in the security filters section?

I don't think we use the word mute. It's only block. And muting in other systems can mean either hiding from view or visible in view but muting from notifications.
Ok. Thanks for that. I have some people that I follow, who also follow me, that don't seem worthy of a block, but post so often that it clutters up my 'follows' feed. I was hoping to just not see their posts, but remain 'friends.'
