I tried here and there and also lost funds doing so
River, Strike, or Swan to buy. Withdraw up to $500 to a bitcoin only, open source hot wallet like Blue Wallet, Sparrow, or Electrum. Past $500, get a bitcoin only open source hardware wallet for cold storage: coldcard, bitbox, or blockstream jade.

Write down your seed phrases on paper or stamp on metal. Never put seed phrase in any digital format. Keep strictly offline.
