I recently deleted Telegram. Lost a lot of access to interesting groups, but Telegram (and Discord too) are awfully bad at privacy.

Telegram as been around for many years... Unfortunately all the normies are there and it's still the most affective way to expose a big number of them to altrrnative world views.
Slowly and steady we'll hook them to #bitcoin and #nostr #freedom tech. Not all, never all, but enough to make a dent eventually.
Oh, my life is orthogonal to normies. I prefer them staying on Telegram, so I can easily avoid them.
