- for server - Ubuntu Server LTS

Have all of this distributions, excluded Ubuntu for servers. Can recommend the same like you anon.

Kali is really bloated. You're better off just installing a lighter distro and installing what you need

Maybe you are right. I rarely use Kali, and only a little part of it's arsenal.
