This is the way.

As a kid, I'd eat tomatoes like apples.

Tomatoes can be really disappointing, and I really wouldn't want to eat them like this but I've just got some good ones:)

I'm happy they're so tasty. One of my favorite things growing up was my grandmother's tomato and cucumber salad. It's the best summer treat.

I’m interested in the recipe if you’re willing to share 😊

It's the simplest! Just tomatoes, cucumbers, (I peel them but leave stripes.), julienned onions, garlic, vinegar to taste, salt and pepper to taste, a pinch of sugar, a splash of apple cider vinegar, and sometimes she would put just like 1/4-1/2 tsp of mayo.

I get eating a sliced tomatoe with some salt n pepper, but just plain and without seasoning, and without cutting it?!

Yeah, these ones are that good. Nothing else needed, very very tasty

In fact I'm grabbing another one.

Damn, a rare thing indeed

What can I say? Growing up with fresh produce handy at anyone's house I went to made me love my veggies.

Unfortunately I only have supermarket tomatoes which are very hit and miss, even the ones that look like they'll be good. Until some hopefully grow in the garden. Otherwise I'd be eating them like apples all the time.

I've got some I'm hoping will ripen in garden soon (first time gardening this year, second attempt at tomatoes after some sort of mold killed first plant). I didn't follow any of the pruning instructions until way too late so will be happy to get a handful. Tomatoes are tricky!
