They never wanted it. Just look at Boris, the pathetic little theater play he put. The fact is that Brexit was absolutely a Putin psyop that worked out.

Brexit was his most notable success against the West ever since he put Germany's prime minister Schroeder on Gazprom's payroll and managed to dismantle Germany's economy like that.
