I mean come on. He is clearly missing the point on Bitcoin. And says some stupid things some times. But don’t throw the baby out with the bath water.

Elon has multiple companies doing things considered “impossible” a decade ago. Give credit where credit is due.

Idk if he’s a genius. But he’s absolutely one of the most important humans of the century.

I agree with most of that, but he’s no genius and he’s not even an inventor. He takes other people’s tech, pushes it to the limits by pushing his employees to theirs, then gets bored and moves on to something else.

Tesla has severe QA problems. The Boring Company made tunnel diggers larger and struggled to get it to work. SpaceX has revolutionized space travel while completely ignoring the pollution and space debris it is causing in our stratosphere. He accidentally bought Twitter and we all know how that went.

He’s definitely one of the most important people of the century, though I suspect (hope?) that the future looks back on him long after his death as we do the robber barons of the 19th century.

Meh, the vogue of envious historians damning everyone more successful as deficient by their preferred standard is as much a product of our own time as it is a reflection on the period of “robber barons”.
