Serious question.

I’ve been diving into bitcoin development over the last while. Say for example I commit to developing on and for the network.

Is it selfish if my gf has no clue about what I could potentially be dragging her into?. She could live a relatively stress free life without the hassle of this. Perhaps having to uproot and move or leave her family etc.

Maybe this is a bit anal I think worth the post
