What are the best solutions to accept Bitcoin donations on your website as a no-coiner but freedom lover ?

I have BTCPay Server (full self custody but a bit harder to set up even with Voltage), and Opennode in mind (no self custody but free weekly withdrawals and 1% fee on all payments)

What are the other possibilities that I’m missing ?

BTCPay Server is the best method to go about receiving payments, at least in my opinion.

However, using it with Voltage means you're paying for your node PLUS paying for BTCPay Server (and they are not cheap).

Yes exactly. This is why it’s not a no brainer especially for non Bitcoiner people who don’t care about trusting a 3rd party for 1 week and really small amounts

Are they keeping the bitcoin or buying fiat ASAP?

I think they will be keeping it on the long term as it will be a small percentage of their donation at least at start, unless they really need cash for their activity of course.

Honestly. I would just use a wallet of satoshi lightning address and a BIP47 Paynym.

Tell them not to keep more sats than they are comfortable losing on WOS.

The thing is it has to be really easy to use cause they are not a Bitcoin website. So their potential donators would be really basic Bitcoin users, potentially using exchanges to donate lol 😆

The best UX would be a donation button with a unified QR code popping IMO.

Use a screenshot of Wallet of Satoshi for the QR code.

Then create a button that links to an LNBits Tip Jar.
