Wait until you get to the fun stuff like always on VPNs and media serving. I suggest a #tailscale container for your convenience.

But, just to mention, I suggest you keep the vm’s/ct’s dedicated to bitcoin separate from everything not bitcoin. On a lesser strict & more practical level, just what’s got hot keys. So maybe plan to have both umbrel & start9 on a single box. The cpu probably won’t be the bottleneck, maybe ram/storage.

Tailscale/Wireguard VPN solutions was something on my checklist to look into as I’ve been wanting to setup a home vpn route - thanks for the tip!

I had def thought about keeping both RE: btc on one machine, which is why I haven’t configured anything yet cause I wasn’t sure how to map it, but the Ram/storage on both are modest @ 16GB ram and like a 512gb m.2 - which is why I was thinking splicing the two across having 1 dedicated machine each initially. The cpu is a pretty recent i5 iirc 🤔
