Trying to recruit new users to #Nostr right now is a mistake. It's slightly improving, but everything I've used is beta in the best cases. For normies, it's probably worse than beta.

Most of my time on Nostr has felt like a job as a beta tester that no one actually listens to. It's exhausting and pointless. Ushering more people in isn't going to make it any better.

And I'm skeptical of people who proclaim how great everything is. I don't buy it. We may be willing to put up with the problems, but I simply don't see average people doing it. They'll dip.

I actually settled for nostr:npub1yzvxlwp7wawed5vgefwfmugvumtp8c8t0etk3g8sky4n0ndvyxesnxrf8q to be honest. I get my feed, articles and wallet all in one.

It’s for me the closest of a normal social media experience

I wish it worked for me. But that's really my point. I'm constantly wishing shit would just work and trying to make it work instead of just using it. I can never understand why there's such a push for more and more functionality in apps that hardly function at all.

I'm not saying that about YakiHonne specifically. I only used it for three minutes so I don't know much about that client. I just mean in general.

Don’t worry mate. ##nostr or Twitter, people are there to make money. They all want grants or donations so they need to add more features.

The point of all that is not to attract normies, it’s to have plebs get on their premium packages.

It’s ironic that you see the Bitcoin main influencers on Twitter with a verified account to farm followers to receive a nice payout in Fiat.

And their post is about the end of Fiat and decentralization but they are getting paid for it. How ironic is that?

The blame is not on them, it’s on the idiots falling for it.

I see no problem with primal whatsoever what’s the issue with primal?
