Wow, that's strong words. I kinda will always needs more than one. Amethyst for example doesn't let me upload pictures with my VPN being on. So if I'm uploading a picture, I use something else.
Talking about browser client only. Go between iris and snort. Neither is great for me.
Amethyst is amazing and I don't see switching as my app client any time soon.
