OMG let's all shed crocodile tears for the boilerplate crybully drama queen who lucked out catering his media carrer to rich people and people who aspire to be rich.
Fact is, very few people can actually help bitcoin, and Peter just happens to occupy the top looking-busy narrative-spinner position. The people who benefit the most from his effort have first names that start with Peter and last names that end in McCormack. His takes are intentionally non-controversial, and his aggregate contribution to the world is getting people FUCKING WRECKED on his sponsors, without whom, he'd be fucking off to some other podcast drama farm, like true crime or sports.
Well I started out shitcoining and was Bitcoin curious before I listened to his beginner's guide which gave me full conviction. I've since expanded the pods that keep me informed and am more interested in the technical topics but I keep WBD in rotation.

As someone who went from shitcoins to Bitcoin-only in 2015, I can tell you that you would have reached the same conclusion without Peter.
That’s exactly it. I definitely didn’t spend the first two years of it making no money, actually losing £100k. I haven’t spent over £1.2m on a lawsuit with Craig Wright. I haven’t donated hundreds of thousands to various projects. I haven’t provided people with well paid jobs. Nope, just a massive leach. You got me angry man.
It’s true, it’s all luck. Millions of people accidentally click on my podcast and don’t know how to turn it off. Phew, I’m so grateful for this luck.
