I have no data on this but I would guess the retention levels must be really high.

If you asked this just a couple of months ago I would have said a high percentage would have given up on Nostr but, things have changed drastically since then.
Apps like Damus and Amethyst have made amazing progress since then and especially with the the most recent additions. I have to say they are pretty impressive now and yes, there is still room for improvement but the pace of change/improvement in these apps is absolutely amazing. They are so responsive to user feedback, we will end up with apps users love in no time at all!
Shout out to all the other clients I haven't mentioned as I know you are making the same rapid progress. And let's not forget the Relays, none of this would be possible without them. The rapid pace of change and improvement has been equally amazing, look how they reacted so quickly to the spam issue!
Zap your support to apps, relays and the services you are using as without these, Nostr would not be possible.
