I'm testing different options for purchasing bitcoin. Haven't tried cashapp yet. Relai seems to have quite low fees.
Discussion
So far for KYC/DCA Bottlepay id winning for me. P2P non-KYC which I'm doing the most Peach Bitcoin and Robosats so far.
I might be a bit biased, because I'm currently covering #Nostr for the company. In all honesty, I wouldn't be here if I wasn't happy with them as a customer.
I'm using Relai since 2020 (when they started) and have bullied them for almost a year to give me some job. Not to earn money (I can get much better pay as social rep out of this industry), but to help them to onboard as much people to Bitcoin as possible. I believe Bitcoin is the most important thing of our lives and will always help it as much as I possibly can. Supporting a company that has similar views, is the reason why I'm here.
As for KYC, there's currently no need to present your ID or a proof or address (like when using other companies), this will change in the future due to EU regulations. For now, your info from IBAN is enough.
Happy to answer any questions you have.
I'm mostly wondering weighing up ease of set up and the least amount of fees (purchasing and transfering). Wishbthere was a site with a side by side comparison relai Vs CashApp (I would say Strike, but it's not available for me or #[4] but may be relevant to others).
I honestly believe that Relai is the easiest option to buy #Bitcoin in #Europe.
Until certain amount, nobody is asking for my ID and the #sats are being delivered straight into my custody.
I'm their happy customer for years, that's why I decided to work for the company.
Strike isn't available in the #UK, last time I've asked, buying bitcoin over cashapp wasn't possible either.
My approach is set and forget (for myself as well as people I orangepill). Perhaps that's the reason why I prefer Relai in the first place.
