This conversation b/w #[1]​ & #[2]​ is truly exceptional! It should be the go to resource for inspiring new devs to build their idea on Nostr. They:

- analogize Nostr to an open app store or OS

- explain why Nostr is such a useful environment to try something new. Each new app: doesn’t need a backend, doesn’t need to acquire users from scratch, can access a sea of existing data, and can integrate Lightning payments to test business models quickly

Thanks Max, I often wondered how people would be building a new civilization on Mars, Nostr feels similar, and much more exciting, bcs it's real.

agreed. for me it’s the right mix of wild-west/frontier ideals with a present grounding in our ability to make near term changes that impact the lives of people we know and love
