No it's actually not. I did that five years and never lost the stubborn body fat.

Spending 6+ months in an 800+ caloric deficit is the cure. For me, switching to high carb, low fat during this time is the cure (still working on the last 10ish lbs).

Testosterone jumped naturally from 550ng/dL to over 1000.

Excess fat is finally starting to disappear.

My muscle growth is at ATHs.

Eating meat once a day helped me overcome my carb addiction. It taught me disciplined eating and I felt great for those years.

But it didn't solve everything.

If you don’t mind answering, what were your approximate body fat % before and after the weight loss?

I’ve dropped about 70lbs in the last few years and having trouble getting rid of the last of it.

Probably between 20-25% body fat before. Now I'm probably around 15% or so. Goal is 10-12%

Good for you! 🔥

I’m in that 15ish% range now with the same goal. Good luck! Sounds like you’ve been killing it!

It is like this, experiment, fail and learn.

The only way. Lots of PoW.

Hit me up if you want raw honey shipped to your door for sats 🫡

My cousin keeps bees, so I have a hookup. 😆

Best way to get it 🫡🤙

Human bodies are all different. I lost 100lbs from keto and fasting. I still fast 4 days a week. I would say it's about finding A thing that works AND it's something that you can maintain. A friend of mine just eats rice , pork, and beans. He's muscular and fit. I can't do it like that but he also can't go more than 8 hours without eating. You are both right, for yourselves. If you aren't lying to yourself about your results and your progress, of couse.

Question: did you change your usage of blue light (screens, LED’s etc.) or your time outside?

I’ve been trying to understand the arguments of Jack Kruse, Glen Jeffrey etc. who are saying the light is a huge factor in weight management.

I don't think any of that has anything to do with weight management.

Eating less is way more important.

Correct, The one way to lose weight and one way only and that is a calorie deficit. All other diets fabs only work if you are in a deficit. Some diets may also effect your metabolism changing how much you body burns. But at the end of the day you must burn more calories than you consume to lose weight. The best diet is the one you can stick with long term. You muscles burn glycogen when you do weight training carbs are your best fuel for this or else your body breaks down muscle tissue for glycogen not fat tissue, best way to burn fat is low intensity like walking or light jog.
