Do you have notifications set to always on? I admit this does drain the battery more. But it could also be all the other apps together.

Do you use Orbot, then vpn, have more then one chat app, an email client, & other services that constantly run in the background?

No, I am in a lot of group chats, and have notifications set to 10 min. I believe it must be it. For me it is the only complaint I have with the app.

Yeah maybe the too many groups i'm only in 3.
