OK, but pensions have always been misunderstood and misrepresented (for good intent).

The pension, especially the government one, that you pay into is to pay for retired people now.

By the time you get to retire you hope that there will be enough income to pay for your pension.

Every intelligent person understood this, every unintelligent person didn't.

That is why the fear of a declining population or economy is real, it's economics not environmental.
