The issue is not can a woman or man do whatever. The issue is why the fuck the government cares. DEI is a government program. The best person willing to do a job should do it.
Yeah sure if the government starts a new program that lists jobs for men and women based on 99% of the general population abilities; when that happens call that alt woke. Removing government overreach is not alt woke.

lots of people running around seeing wokies under every bush and always trying to spot the wokeness in all media. They don't believe in anything except aligning themselves against a boogeyman.
Wokeness is a stupid belief system with no solid foundation, what is woke constantly shifts by whim. How solid is the foundation of your beliefs then if it is "anti woke" as its core principle?
To use martial arts, if you put your weight on your opponent you must be very careful how and when. It is very likely you've given them control over your balance by putting your weight on them. Now they control your movements.
Not everyone who is opposed to those policies is alt woke. Sometimes you should put your weight down and crush your opponent. If you chose to simply align against everything anyone called woke, you let your opponent choose your position for you. You put your weight on your opponent at every opportunity without thinking it through. Those people who let the wokies choose their positions for them are alt-woke.
At least that is how I plan to use it. I didn't coin the phrase.
