"No" is a powerful word. Paired with a strong will, it suffices to erect an insurmountable wall to protect your time and energy.
I literally drill this into my family. I make a bit of fun of Eckart Tolle’s book.
I call it, “The Power of No.”

Can’t argue with it, can’t move it, can’t negotiate it. You have to say it in a way that’s final though.
Say no, and mean it. It’s a super power.
