Napster, limewire, kazaa in that order. downloading single mp3s over night. Hoping someone wouldn't pickup the wrong phone line and duck up your download.
Yea ... if you think about it. Anything that uses a distributed P2P architecture has to give a little credit to the grandaddy that started it all and that's Napster. Before Napster no one ever thought of P2P distribution. It was really revolutionary.
I found an old .rm file the otherdayy on a backup drive. Was wondering what can even play it these days.
