This feels like great context for things I can't understand yet
blockstream gets ridiculed too, anybody who tries to make changes to Bitcoin does, it's just much worse when you're a single guy and not a company led by the guy who made hashcash. our consensus relies very heavily on status or perceived status so people like Adam Back have special privileges in the minds of many more runners. I don't think there is some conspiracy here, it's playing out how I would have expected.
