Okay. And that is legal or illegal in the US?

Generally legal all over I believe. However each state is different in their “rules”…

TLDR -

a lot of the states make it so cumbersome around open carry that you almost never see it because of how many ancillary rules and regs the state puts around open carry. Things like when you get to your car how you’re supposed to put it away and lock it up, etc. Becomes so much of a hassle that people don’t even do it.

Therefore the government and their intended effect has worked….Where the people just choose not to defend themselves and carry at all.

Psychotic

I see. For me as an European it’s fascinating that Americans can own guns. And then even carry them openly. I would be a gun owner for sure

I understand that. It’s like anything in life, it’s all relative.

Most Americans actually haven’t grown up with guns. We have moved so far away from our beginnings and common sense that we don’t even know the freedoms we once had.

Things got too good and people dropped their guard, in defense.

Therefore many people are “scared” of firearms because they didn’t grow up with them, the media sensationalizes it to do the governments dirty work. Governments never want their citizens to be able to protect themselves.

Ironically, No one is scared of cars here, because every person grows up with them daily and trains themselves how to use them. Yet cars kill/injure exponentially more people in America each year and it’s not even close. Yet no one bats an eye.

Rights come from God. Not from government. You don’t need to ask anyone for the permission to own anything of protect yourselves. Government works at our consent and is only there to uphold that rule of law. Period.

We will figure that out all over again but only after more problems and unrest. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Well said.
