My brain:

Oh! Pretty leaves!

I was just running to a coffee shop thatโ€™s a 10 min walk so I didnโ€™t get cold. But, the socks are there ๐Ÿ˜… they are just the little ankle socks.

I've never really understood the appeal of socks you can't see... I'm much more practical and want my socks to function not to look cool. Or in this case, disappear. But that's just my own hangup, and I'm not implying you shouldn't wear them. I'm just going to smirk because I think it's silly. LOL

Iโ€™m not against socks that show, I was just in those socks at home (I like small / thin socks + house shoes, or thick socks and no house shoes) and was too lazy to change into โ€œproperโ€ outdoor socks ๐Ÿ˜‚

All my socks are heavily merino wool. Yes, I even wear them in summer. They are not fashionable, but, also, they are not smelly and keep my feet dry, even when I'm sweating at work or on a hike.

Yeah merino wool is really good in all weather ๐Ÿ‘Œ

It's my favorite clothing material for most things, though it's too expensive for most of my work clothes, since those get worn out very quickly due to the work I do. I do have a bunch of merino clothes that I have for hiking/camping. I buy more when I can, but it's a slow process since it is expensive.

Buying good quality, little by little is much better than buying cheap synthetic stuff thatโ€™s unhealthy for our bodies and for the earth.

I'm still learning about what clothes are bad.

I'm really annoyed that my favorite underwear might not be the best. It's hard to find stuff that fits. I'm built wide (legitimately big boned, and I'm also fat) and even when I was at my fittest, clothing was hard to find since I'm built more like a linebacker from American football than anything else. Wide hips and a trim waste is more normal for women, but not for guys.

Anyway, enough complaining. I'll eventually find underwear that is decently priced, healthy, and deals well with sweat (very necessary since no one likes swampy bits, and there are days when I sweat at work even in the depths of winter.

๐Ÿ˜‚ well I donโ€™t know much about menโ€™s underwear, but Iโ€™m sure there has to be something out there

Nothing that I've seen in what I consider durably affordable or made for male model looking guys. (Good for them! Not so good for me.)

The type I'm wearing these days are just so dang comfy. Sometimes it's annoying to learn this stuff. LOL

lol yeah I can imagine.

And yeah it sucks that we have to learn about clothing, fabrics, diesโ€ฆ like why canโ€™t it all just be made properly so itโ€™s one less thing we have to think about!

Since becoming a hodler Iโ€™ve really started to understand how nice it is to have 15 back tops and never have to think about it again! ๐Ÿคฏ

Thatโ€™s so nice to not have to think about what you will wear in the morning. So next step would be if all brands just made good quality so we never have to think about what we are buying - huge time saver!

My work clothes are the best system: I don't think at all about what I wear to work. But now I'm concerned about my underwear... I think... I'm just not going to worry about it for now since I have many other more important things to focus on like eating healthier and getting daily movement in.

Yeah I think those are good ones to focus on now. And then when you are ready you can #AskNostr for the best healthy menโ€™s underwear ๐Ÿฉฒ Iโ€™m 100% sure there are guys here that have already looked into this!

You're totally right about that. I'm sure some of them have, and if not, we can all get educated.
