If you aren't a routing node, mints would probaby begin to raise routing fees to pay for the funds locked in the channel to you.

Interestingly, there could even be a mode for lightning where your node reveals the preimage to an incoming transaction in exchange for ecash tokens from the mint routing it. Then you could withdraw them again once you have enough balance.

Isn’t that what LSPs already do? Collect routing fees and charge for a channel.
