I use olive oil instead of butter...
For lasagna, I season the white cream with salt, leaf, nutmeg and garlic !

I've never tried that, my olive oil usage is mainly for vinaigrettes. Other fats work for sure though 👍 For Mac & Cheese I actually prefer bacon fat over butter, gives a nice smokey flavour.
I only use olive oil as fat. 😊🫂
