You give them too much credit, in my experience they’re mostly idiots.

Nostr was mentioned in the WSJ because of Jack’s tweets, so there’s no way the other media conglomerates are unaware of what’s happening. They all talked about Parler when it came out, but nothing about nostr 🤔

Unlikely many of them have done the work, they certainly haven’t on #bitcoin

This is true. But at least for Bitcoin, they talk negatively about it so that it gets exposure. Maybe the media has learned if they talk negatively about something, the people will flock to it.
