Learn hard things.

Be okay with being terrible at it. For a long time.

Then you’ll be okay at them and be happy.

This is so very true.

Mid ground between turtle and rabbit? Haha 👍

😂 kinda!

I find we’re too often comparative in our journeys of learning “X”.

Teddy Roosevelt said comparison is the thief of joy.

If you start learning something because it’s interesting to you, comparing just rips all the joy from the learning experience. You end up bad at it AND not happy.

Find people to learn around that encourage and uplift. That way even as you get incrementally better at whatever it is you’re doing, you continue to focus on the joy of the process.

I say this as I’m pushing myself to learn enriching skills and realizing that there’s a need for a forgiving and joyful attitude towards the segment of time where you just flat out suck at it lol

Yes I'm always enthusiastic about something I'm learning. Otherwise why do it. Agreed

But also not everyone likes extreme programming while rubbing shoulders, hard to focus when in comes to tech. Tech requires some silence

Yeah i suck at many things especially in tech. There is way too many specializations.... So no way you can know it all ..... Unless you're Pablo 😂✌️🤙
