Stealth Pathogens

This term is used to describe infections that hide in tissues causing biological disruption and eventually symptoms. They display persistence instead of virulence and are difficult to detect with most treatments aimed only at the symptoms.

Examples:

Infections: Epstein–Barr virus, Lyme disease

Symptoms: fatigue, weight gain, aches and pains, headaches, poor sleep

Conventional Treatment: pain meds, sleep meds, antidepressants

Holistic Treatment: individualized care based on disrupted systems
