I know a good number of liberal elites.. they of all people get so caught up on the taxation part of using btc. i used to try and answer in a meaningful way, explaining it can be used privately and exchanged peer to peer.. now i just say 'i dont care about that'.im so tired of people hearing why btc is a good thing, then deciding to drop it cuz of somethibg like the small chance you have an unpaid tax bill that you are asked to pay later.. then furthermore not making a connection to that reality of govt stifling innovation and human flourishing as a problem.. just acceptance, fucking lame.

Fucking lame indeed lol
What taxes?
Or you could try this; ask if they agree that they should have to pay taxes on peer to peer transactions. If they agree then it's completely safe to move on and never talk Bitcoin with them again. If they disagree then you can talk about civil disobedience and how it is their patriotic duty to disobey laws they don't agree with.
They can collect the tax from other sources, doesnt need to be from corn stash.
They will seize property, garnish wages, grab from your accounts (including kyc exchange accounts if you try and opt out)
Bitcoin redirects confiscation attack surface, doesnt eliminate.
