I just don't think I trust most people here to follow interesting people tbh lolkl. So not a metric I would use.

I mean yeah, that is something I suppose. But I still wouldn't go by this list for user recommendations. You'd still end up with the same problem, sub-categories of bitcoin-related subtopics.

I actually got confused about which thread you were replying to lol. I was in another one about primal using nostrband to recommend users. Still stands tho lol.
I'm currently enjoying a great unfollowing using some self determined heuristics. I want to get sub 500. Eventually just 24 once I find who the real people are 😎👌
I once unfollowed everyone who mentioned the price of bitcoin explicitly or implicitly. I basically had a dead feed and a couple of mostr users lol
Interaction is key. If it's someone I interact with, have good conversations with, they're in. Otherwise.
-podcaster in bio? Jail
-only Bitcoin stuff in bio? Jail
-every note is a repost? Jail
-post referral urls without making it explicit? Jail
-meme repost account? Jail
-repost sats 4 follows? You bet that's jail

I don't know why people on nostr recommend following everyone / a many people as possible to begin with. I'd rather have a slow feed than constant bitcoin slogans and misc trash
Just clearing the inactives. That removed at least half of the follows. Like 700+
