I think it's more the enviromentalists. That's an excuse. It's about total control. Electricity can be shut off. Electric stoves, furnaces, themostats, cars.. The Deep State will tell you how much electricity you can use. You go over that number you have no power. Regarding electric cars. Just how far can you go? Can you go on a road trip? No.. It's the Socialist control of every facet of your life.
