No, this is a backwards compatible implementation. Your phone probably doesn't show the bar up top immediately, but older ones take 2 seconds to make the bar disappear. So, instead of drawing on top of the bar, we wait 2 seconds for the old phones to catch up.
Oh. There's no wait-until function, like with Selenium?
I guess that's only with testing.
