Moon has a major role to the existence of life on earth esp. tidal effect or some earth’s geological effects. if it gone, it will cause major problem to many life on earth and if moon doesn’t exist at first, the life would be pretty different from today right now. And our tech currently just not advance enough for sure to counter this scenario; like we can just send humans fly to the moon (or maybe it’s a lie), collect some stone, take picture, do some geological scan, and fly back; that’s all. I think in the distant future that we may have more significantly advanced tech, and maybe we can be a space traveller, if this scenario occurred, it’s quite interest to wonder how can we handle with it, or just give up and find new planet
