Bitcoin is better collateral than houses. Run that forward.

Hardest part about being a bitcoiner is convincing your wife of this fact. For some reason, every woman I know would rather own a house than live in a trailor and stack sats. 🤷

This explains quite a bit. I'm pretty sure I'm one of those autists. I don't ever consider what people think of me. That's probably why I suck at job interviews too.

Try that when your wife is in real estate. Admittedly, got her stacking now but 3 year slow slog

And nuclear family

Lots of us have been Pavloved into thinking real estate is the holy grail. From my math, most big city income producing properties yield 4-6% (cashflow) due to rent controls, property tax, vacancy rate and maintenance. If you’re not playing the debt game and getting second mortgages, then it makes no sense.

Oh, and just wait till every boomer sells their houses. It’s coming.

This another example where many are simply blind to bitcoin. I visited aunt last year. Interesting conversation:

I have to cash in a tax free investment soon. What should I consider and don't mention bitcoin.

Hmm how much is your house worth, how much did you pay and when did you buy it?

250k, bought in 2017 for 180k so currently 70k profit

Wow, you lost a lot!

How?

You paid just over 6kg equivalent gold and now its worth just over 4kg. If you're measuring in something of no value, you made profit but its just the wrong measuring stick. You should try looking in bitcoin terms.

I failed on orange pill but at least she bought some gold coins. I keep repeating this. Dont bash head explaining bitcoin. People resonate with gold. Its got the history. It helps them move to learning about value rather that Fiat prices

People love real estate, because they love leverage, if you couldn't go x10 or x20 on a property it wouldn't be such a hot tamale and even with that leverage you're still underperforming bitcoin its a riot lol
