I literally have spending most of my waking hours the past month (10,000+ lines of code) trying to build an awesome #nostr client people might actually want to use, sharing my progress in public in the telegram and on twitter. Contributed a NIP (pow), utils (nostril), lightning integration, likes, retweets. You arrive and say it’s all a lie and that everything sucks. Maybe look around a bit first and help out, instead of complaining and insulting all the nostr devs who are building clients and trying to get this thing off the ground.
I am deeply sorry you took my comments the way you did. Nothing I said was meant derogatory. I swear and mean it. I never claimed you made anything up. damus.io makes almost no claims and lacks very basic information. Is it nostr? I guess so but the page doesn't make that claim.
On Telegram I heard it was for iPhone but ... is it also for web or Android? That would be awesome but I can't find that information. I'm an Android dev that wants to work on nostr but fiatjaf indicated that branle might be obsolete, astral looks better but has 3 commits only.
That's ok if it's just so early days but I want to know if it maybe gets developed behind closed doors and is more advanced than on public GitHub.
I saw your demo video of damus in the Telegram chat but damus.io literally has no pointers to your 10k lines of code or how to try out your work.
I want to help. I suggested code changes to astral and asked you in DM about the project as I *could not find it*.

hey there, I'm very sorry about ruining the commit history between branle and astral. astral is 100% a fork of branle. this is my first project and I didn't fully think through the git strategy. I will not do this in the future.
