Tbh it's been pretty easy for me to orange pill people.

But I haven't purple pilled a single person yet 😭

Shill me some tips, why should someone leave Facebook with their friends and family to join Nostr with a bunch of psychopaths?

People who found this place we're seeking for this type of environment even before it existed so I think you basically can't do it because those people don't have same hierarchy of values as most of us. (However it sounds think that mostly it's true.) Majority will come in second or third wave after this one for sure...

Yep

In-person BTC meetup worked well, 2 purple pills in 10 min… granted it’s the target audience.

Yeah definitely bitcoiners will be easier lol

One other person purple pilled was a ETH NFT guy… zapped him 50 sats after downloading Damus… he was like whoa.

And then 30 sec later he was trying to shill the NFT project again fml 🤦🏼‍♂️

My two Sats to orange+purple 💊 your frens:

Nostr is our way out of the broken Internet, tech companies created because of short-term Fiat money mindset. 🤙

Nostr is incorruptible and free like Bitcoin, uniting the world without a central middleman or nation borders deviding us. 💜🧡

Imagine sending money to someone in realtime on the other side of the world providing value to you with a simple meme about freedom! Wouldn't that be great? ⚡

If you don’t believe it or don’t get it, I don’t have the time to try to convince you, sorry.

nostr will probably stay niche in some ways. Best hope for mass adoption is that Twitter integrates nostr and becomes the biggest relay for nostr

The cool people have already left Facebook.

Easier to purple pill people from the blue bird

To join reality and get away from friends and family and bullshit 😂

💜🫶🧡

Those I did purple pill only stayed 1 day, took my sats, then left to never return.

Most have no interest in this app, it’s isolating, no friends on here, the conversation is 98% about bitcoin, & it’s hard to use.

Tbh, would you or most any of us be here if it wasn’t for Jack or Snowden advertising on Twitter?

I was here before both of them ;)

I believe that. Can tell from reading your posts your well versed and smart in technology.

Your knowledge of bitcoin/technology vs most other regular ppl’s are worlds apart, so I think the transition to using app like this will be difficult to most “none technie” ppl. They either don’t understand it, learning curve too difficult, & not lot incentive. Ya zaps are fun at first they’ve told me, but excitement of few pennies doesn’t sustain interest.

For me it's the other way around. People are fucking tired of suggested content and ads. But they do trust their banks.
