Bought a Tricolate Brewer and am going to try drinking black filter coffee. I stopped having sugar with coffee a few years ago but I want to cut down a little on the amount of milk I am drinking. I’ve mostly had coffee with milk in the past so I don’t have a lot to compare it to but this actually tasted pretty good.

Right on man. Black coffee can be so nuanced. Can also be a little unforgiving, but hey, there’s always milk if you screw it up.

I’m going on the advice from the roaster who I bought the beans from. They recommended the tricolate and I’ve been following their brewing recommendations so hopefully I get fairly consistent results. But yeah even if I end up adding a little milk it is still better than having a latte.
