The problem with this wager is that it only looks takes into account what may happen after death. It doesn’t consider the cost during your life.

I guess the proposer thinks that the costs during life (limited) is way too insignificant compared to the consequences after death (eternal)

Yes i think that is his position but he should’ve argued that instead
