What is the best practice for showing videos on Nostr?
I noticed uploading a video took very long, so I assume this is not the way to go.

I guess it depends on what client you're using? You can buy an account on nostr.build and upload them there, then copy the link to the video and paste it into your client. Or just upload directly to nostr.build if your client supports that. You can also upload videos to flare.pub which is like a YouTube alternative and share them that way. Sorry for the complicated response.
