Yikes! I will need to troubleshoot that. If you can send me any screen capture or video to help me understand better what’s going on would be helpful.
Request for nostr:npub1jdgclywl55wc4neey97de57jenghsseuh8njx6z5f2kdwsfvk5xqhd2mys: With the latest version the page is also no longer rectangular. On load it scrolls down and only shows half the calendar.
And the animations are too much for my poor Raspberry Pi. I can't even access settings, as it's so heavy any click or scroll only registers after ~10 seconds or so.
Is it possible to have a square version for square screens (this is 720x720) and without all the transition animations?

This was after a reboot, several minutes into the start of the page load. This is realtime. Somehow the page scrolled down. Total page load is in the order of 10 minutes.
Every new block triggers another animation, that sometimes doesn't complete, or just takes so long, maybe it gets confused if another block is found before the previous animation was done?
I know this is quite an exotic use-case for your page, and a Pi Zero is super underpowered for this, so feel free to ignore this! What I can also do is have an older version running locally, that ran beautiful on this screen.

Ok thanks for the video. I’m pretty sure I know what’s going on just based on that. As a purely client side app I am asking the browser to do a lot. The Pi is def exhausting resources to repaint the screen so often. I am going to troubleshoot this further and Im thinking a reduced animation mode might be a good idea. Also considering running an older version at a different url. Stay tuned. Really sorry about the we disruption…
Load the latest release v0.3.21 it includes a new option in Settings - Reduced Motion.
Try it out and let me know if the difficulties are eased with that. Lmk how it goes…
