Yes I agree. No one is perfect, but we do what we must and do it the best that we can with the information we have. The truth is on our side and we must be willing to admit past failings. To lie is to build up heaps of mistrust which is like a debt that must be paid in full at the moment the lie is discovered. We cannot afford that.

These world wars are just battles in a much larger struggle. The actual war continues and much of it is not a traditional war with bullets and tanks. It's sad, but not surprising, to know that many people have no idea this war wages on with them unwitting participants.
