My energy levels were extremely low over the weekend, but the message I kept receiving was this - take out the trash.

Take out the old things you no longer need. Clean up a storage room. Throw away that old Christmas cake you never planned to eat. Admit that the goals you set are just distractions from the one thing that truly matters to you this year, etc.

And here I am, after a 5km run, feeling that emptiness again - the emptiness that serves as the foundation of everything. Only an empty space can be filled with something meaningful.
