Watching principles of spatial design series from Apple and it feels like this is the future. Maybe not in v1 shape and form but maybe v4 and beyond. When it becomes the side of sunglasses it may be all we do.

This is my feeling as well. It’s already light years ahead, but there are definite flaws that I suspect will be iteratively corrected as tech continues to advance.

This is the first time I’ve been interested in VR, and the first time I’ve been interested in 3d movies as an aside…

Same here. I’ve always mostly ignored VR/AR but this has me thinking about it often!

Imagine being able to pluck a note bubble from the timeline and pull it to the side, and it expands into the entire thread.

And you could be posting and watching multiple threads at the same time that way…

I might say that even in the form of glasses, it's hard to imagine that this thing would work for everyone. So far, I am against the claim that this is the new iPhone.

I think it is a transitional product before we get to some kind of neural chips and "mind interfaces," but it will be even more dystopian than it is now.

But I think what we have now — it is a great device for work/content. There are a lot of new possibilities for that. But even in form of glasses I will never wear that thing all day long.

Maybe I’m wrong. Time will show. There was a lot of same doubts about iPhone itself, lol.
