I was introduced to Couchsurfing in San Francisco in 2007, I was at the right place and time and met great people. In 2010 I hitch hiked through Australia for half a year and again met the best of people through Couchsurfing.
Nobody can take those experiences away from me, they made me who I am today. 🙏
Yea I hosted a lot of people over the years, then took a mini-retirement for a year and visited a bunch of them all over the world.
We still mail Christmas cards/letters to a bunch of countries since we don't have non-nostr social media anymore
